Very nice id love to fly that someday. What a awefull spill into the animas river.iwonder how bad it is down into the san juan.does anyone know if its as bad as it looks on the news. Not exactly sure where this creed valley is?
Hell henry thats almost as high as the hang glider launch at sandia peak. 10,363 ft msl. That would be challenging to say the least on a hot day. That valley has some very interesting geological features as well. I wonder how it was formed.
Awesome Henry! Really enjoyed it. Now the Creede valley is on my bucket list. I just don't know whether my trike would have any performance at that altitude especially in summer with high DA. Maybe when I get my new wing with VG and electric trim I might be able to get airborne. I recall passing through there about 38 yrs ago when I spent several months living in Trinidad, CO. Not far from Alamosa, Salina, Pagosa Springs, Gunnison. Some absolutely incredible mountainous terrain close by. Recall climbing several of the fourteeners when I was a teenager including Mt Blanca to the east and Mt Elbert a bit north. Yes this has to be on my bucket list for future flying adventures. Thanks for sharing another great video Henry.
Hi Joe, thanks for watching it. The valley was absolutely beautiful and gorgeous. We also flew over few peaks over 14,000 feet, like Redclouds Peak and Rio Grande Pyramid. The movie will be coming soon. It was amazing that there are so many 14K peaks, standing like one big wall. My trike took more than twice of the ground roll for taking off.

A Henry classic! Thanks, that was mesmerizing!
I loved the video Henry! The colors you get out of your Gopro's is amazing man!
Is that in part due to the software you use to create the vids?

Fortunately, we took off early morning and came back before it gets warm. Chiris told me that it all formed by huge volcanic activities.
