Early test day Caldwell. Glad they are tests. Half of the exhaust was planted in a farmers field from 1500 feet. Lucky to still have a prop or sail. Redesigned the exhaust and all is well.
Never know what you might see on Destination YFT..!
Home made aircraft on the entrance to a property on the trip.. features turbine wind prop hub..dual cockpit wrought iron sheeting with headlights..!
I will certainly miss the kick in the back when opening up the Rotax 582 to full revs and launching into the skies - that very quiet 5 blade KIEV prop certainly is great match for a wonderful engine and an amazing 19 year old maiden of the skies.
They didn't believe all three would fit. They had just been pulling the two of them straight in.
We backed their two trikes into the corner of the T, with the prop hub near the corner, and a third trike will fit like a piece of pie straight ahead.
We noted that this Gyro is actually not a pusher prop, but has a very tiny electric tractor motor on it. Amazing!!!
Maybe @Vance can explain. Is this a twin engine? New nuclear space motor technology?
