Great scenery Henry! Looking out through a rain filled window this morning wishing I was flying over that beach right now! Happy New Year!- Surprised you found a day that calm at Searchlight. Its usually WINDY there. The morning light reflecting off the lake on to the wing makes for some really nice effects.

- Hi Ken, we have been to busy to put posts on AT. I have also forgoten to take a camera with me on some of the most scenic flights. This one is turning onto final after a pitch and recover landing at the end of a formation flight this morning. Hedgeview is right on my tail.
- Hi XC and Jozinko, Yes that's the Yarrawonga Aerodrome, and it is dry at the moment. Yesterday we had 50kt winds in the morning at 2000 feet. Yes we were flying. In the afternoon that wind was on the ground. My hangars were all locked up.
We toasted the last supper with Noel C & his wife last night (thanks again; great Italian). And XC & WE have now officially left Oz.... sort of. Looks like a delayed departure. - I spoke to airborne this morning and there is a service bulletin coming soon. After discussion, this tube is designed to flex under heavy stress landings etc, otherwise something else has to bend! I got the price for a newie = ouch.
