See @Jeff_Trike's spectacular trike XC adventure site for more. Fear of doing this out in the middle of nowhere actually resulted in an "interesting" landing when I landed to give @Kim some of my gas one time.- It is starting to get cold, so I made a sunset flight over the Manzano Mountains, in calm glassy conditions.
- Working my way up the East River past Crested Butte, to 10707 ft Schoefield Pass, and on to the beautiful grass strip at Marble, Colorado. The big mountain at the center is Gothic Mountain.

- The slot canyon of the San Raphael River appeared a few miles further downstream. It is deep dark canyon with no escape. We followed the slot to Mexican Mountain. I circled the mountain for fun, then came down to land.
