I went on a solo flight over the Manzano Mountains. This is Jeff Gilkeys playground, I should have called him as we would have got some really nice shots with another trike in the picture. I wanted to do a landing at Abq sunport on my way over there but approach rejected me as they couldn't get me on the radar.
I spent some time back in the day working out of the Mountainair Ranger District. The folks and the area around Mountainair treated me well. Only spent a little time clear up there on the crest though Nice to see what it is like up on top!
