I learnt a costly lesson of not having a suitable backing on the trike covers on a open trailer for long dis...wind. At the moment and for the short journeys that I do I prefer no covers but that's in dry conditions...- Did some new mods - replacing landing gear covers with some new stuff. WAY cheaper than the original, and hoping its much more durable.

- The new landing gear covers are made from .030 black UMHW Polyethylene. @ttabs found the rigth stuff and ordered up a set for both of us
- Initially we tried a few rolls of glad wrap to keep the dust off the trike. Then it rained...and rained...and rained. Eventually the whole trailer just collapsed in half and had to be rebuilt en route.
