    Spent a lot of time on the motor.  Cleaning between the fins is a royal PITA!  But what the heck - it's cold outside and I've got the heater on!

  • Wing Up Day.

    This wing has not flown except for the test by the craftsman Mark Gibson. So far everyone that has seen this wing today agrees, this thing is heavy duty through and through. The stitching is immaculate and straight. All the batons came out of the box spot on using the chart.

    Chose a new mounting location under the motor mount where there were pre-existing holes to take advantage of. Used steel angle iron to make the mount

  • Takeoff from Mexican Mountain

    When I preflighted my trike, I noticed a very thin layer of frost on my wings.  I knew frost on the wing was less than ideal, but I took off anyway....t of frost, like very fine sandpaper on the wing....ally into the sun to melt the frost off the wing....
