PVC prop guards and wing support prepping for trailering

PVC prop guards and wing support prepping for trailering. PVC works in this case as the wing will be supported from the ceiling of the trailer. See other photo!

Hi, what do you use to support the pvc on the wheel strutted bar?

  • Ken

There are "y" shaped metal ends on the bottom of each upright.

    Hey Cool Ken,

You taught me a cool trick here:

You wrote:  "PVC works in this case as the wing will be supported from the ceiling of the trailer."

where "wing will be supported" is a LINK to another photo.

That link actually leads you here:  http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/image/3035/wing-tip-support-to-roof

But it is so much more elegant how you turned the text into the link!!!

So, folks, how'd he do that?  I had to fiddle a little.  But, look below at the "Leave a Comment" box.  See the very faint greyed out chain link and broken chain link symbols?  Ok, follow along with me:

Type some text in the "Leave a Comment" box:   onefish twofish, redfish bluefish

No use your cursor to select/highlight the text portion you want to turn into the link.  Say you select "redfish"

As soon as you do that, the chain link and broken chain link symbols go active (not greyed out).

Click on chain link, a popup comes up where you can enter the long URL (actual link address) to another place on the web.

    Done!!   Very Simple, very nice!

Of course, you can hover over all the symbols at the top of the "Leave a Comment" box to see what they are.

See if you can see the link below?  ;)

Ken, where do you get the metal "y" shaped, or did you make it yourself?

  • Ken

I think they are some variation of a standard tool hook that you can get at the hardware store.
