Hey that's interesting.  You can hold the vertical portion like THESE and THESE and THESE only upside down.

Did you find the stock bar postion a little high off your lap?  It's almost like you created a "speed bar" (scroll down), except it doesn't really allow you to pull in further.  Will they clear your legs if you're pulled in and then bank hard?

    Very cool looking--  Innovation!!

Well, I though that the Bionix sat a little high on my DTA and thought this idea might solve a few small issues.  Now there's many positions for the hands to fly on long XC's including a 'natural' vertical grip.  Does not impinge my lap on high bank descents where naturally my hands are positioned on the main bar.  I had them on at 4:45 on my last vid.  Didn't test them as it was just too cold out!  lol

T, my buddy s planning on putting a Bionix 13 or 15 on his DTA Voyageur 1997 model 80hp.

tell us about your experience please.

I mounted a Bionix 15 on my DTA needing to manufacture the mast spacers for a thicker 80 mm fit.  Once that was done, the wing bolted nicely in place on the DTA.  I also used a 7/16th AN hang bolt that worked well.

As for the flying - the 15m wing flew very nicely and my cruising speed increased.  The trim feature works very well and you'll find this wing to be very predictable.  I recently ordered a new Bionix 15 m wing for my Tanarg (vs the 13m wing) because I do a lot of mountain flying and want a wing that will give me that same great lift/speed ratio.  In my opinion, the 15m wing is a great workhorse yet is still maneuverable enough to suit my needs.  15 vs 13 wing - that's your call.
