There were some beautiful sunsets ... Those are my guys enjoying it ! Thanks J !! Clouds & weather have me still stuck in LA after lecture last night (went well- thanks everyone). May be able to takeoff this afternoon-- slightly regretting not flying home last night ... but I'm here alive & well, analyzing the options ;)
I met Henry B, Revo owner who is starting up an intro trike flight instruction business in LA. Nice guy. A female student of his came as well, so when an older gentleman asked if old guys could fly a trike, it was a perfect opportunity to point to his female student and say, "Well, she's doing it ... !!!"
Jim & Dale were there too, so there was lots of trike support and people to answer questions, etc. Very well received over all and fun. Spreading the trike love around !! ;) Talked about the differences and advantages of ultralight trikes and the spectrum of lightsport, private pilot, etc. It's a big pool with lots of room and niches for everyone to enjoy. Beyond that, there are many trikes that are perfectly legal, safe, and capable of mixing in with GA traffic at controlled (and uncontrolled) airports.
Have been receiving lots of requests to talk at other airports-- I just doubt I'll have the time to do so. I do have the talk / slides ready for others who'd like to use it (let me know), and I may give some more talks in future (this was actually my second-- I presented trikes and our Top-to-Bottom / West Coast trip a couple years ago at my local airport EAA meeting).
