Hi XC, In this photo we are 1000 feet about the water. Each Trike has a step down of ten feet from the one in front. Now when I sayTEN FEET STEP DOWN I mean the top of the wing is ten feet below the wheels of the Trike in front. Hence there is NO WAKE to worry about. It works in a jet, a Cessna, and a Trike. We do it, and have been doing it for years, and haven't had a problem yet.
Thanks. Great pic, the water looks closer. At 10 feet below the trike, how many feet back does the wake begin, or how many feet of no wake area is there behind the leading trike?

Wow, nice picture. Really amazing how you've figured out how to avoid the wake, and even low over water!!!
