We started at Yarrawonga (Victoria), and flew to Wagga Wagga 87nm, Cowra 99nm, Bathurst 57nm, and had a free day there. Then we departed for Parkes 73nm. The Tanarg TB13 reached level flight 104kts. From Parkes we headed to Narrandera 128nm, and then back to Yarrawonga 84nm. We had 34 aircraft and 53 aircrew, one 22 Bus and trailer, to carry all the fuel clothing and food. The whole flight could have been done in a Trike in one day, but we take seven day, because it is a holiday.
Thanks for sharing-- If I'm not going XC myself, I LOVE to go virtually!!! ;)
It was easier for me to sus out THIS MAP (though I bet your's is a lot more technical)
All I did was enter these waypoints on SkyVector separated by spaces: YYWG YSWG YCWR YBTH YPKS YNAR YYWG. Then you can "rubberband" drag and drop the route as well for s-turns and side excursions to gps points. I showed Chris this am how to do it in about 45 seconds, he had it.
So basically, you stayed East of the Great Dividing Range, up into the mountains about 82nm West of Sydney (would that have been a cool add on, going past the Opera house?!!), and back down into the flats in a great circle back to Yarrawonga
