New Formation
Formation of Three...
Wednesday afternoon was another formation training session with three aircraft trialling a new formation. The Reverse Vee. The three aircraft formation completed Head to Head, Line Abreast, and Echelon before moving into the Reverse Vee formation. This was very successful and the icecream lickers were impressed.

So formation flight no tele wow. Do you tell amatures to not try this at home.
Hi David, The camera I use is a new Sony called Cyber Shot. It is a bit hard to get focus as the wires and windscreen get picked up by the auto focus.
It takes a photo 20 hour to complete the formation flying course with YFT. This gives you the formation endorsment. If you don't have this you are only able to fly 100 feet apart by law. Have a look back at some of the other formation albums and you can see how close we get and how professional our pilots are. Hope to speak to you soon on line David. All the best YFT
Thanks dont know if we have that endorsement up here.my dad worked for right patterson afb but he also was a pby pilot in the navey so i grew up liking the blue angels and the thunderbirds.
Wow, exceptionally crisp photos. I think you should recommend yourself for "Feature Me" (Photo of month, calendar, etc) with tags ;)
When I take air to air photos you have to squint to see the other guys ;) Here you can see the sweat on their brows!
