' knock-off-knockoff'

i just bought (on line) a 'knock-off-knock-off' video cam, $19.25, inc postage! well, so far it's $19. overpriced! its a copy of my ultraprox adventure cam 04, which is a 'knock-off of my gopro. my ultrapro gives a very sharp picture, though with a bluish tinge. problem is it shuts down just as i get to take off! maybe out of fear? i think it's my own 'programing fault'. the ko-of-a-ko is similar, supposably has a 2 inch screen, mine is 1.5 inch screen, that's corner to corner. i've tried 2 different sd cards, both 10sp .the image is very grainy, everything within half a furlong is blurry  and it seperates into 5 minute 'flashes' , only the first of which my computer is willing to play. the 'sd' card slot has no indication which way to insert it, the card 'wanders' around when inserted, i almost lost it once. no guides for it .       the waterproof case-opening catch is the WORST i've ever seen. they call it a 'lock' in the 'instruction manual', it's impossible to unlock without using some kind of tool. the manual print is the smallest 'font', (you other old geezers out there  had better up your  reading glasses to 3.25+)  and is devoid of any 'english' language real-world  translation. the warning page says 'do not fall or crash'. the bad news is i ordered two of these little 'jewels'! oh well, i'll keep on trying to get  it to work. i see what appears to be identical cams for WAY more than what i paid, sometimes you get what you pay for! sucker! (me).

    I had a similar experience with a Foscam. A little more than $19.25 but only worth $19. Yes, you do get what you pay for. So the lesson for us...knock-it-off. :[}
