Thanks Ken, Here's the LINK, and a teaser of their description at Air Creation's Website:
The new Air Creation single-seater wing: PLAYFUL, COMFORTABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT, and STRONG.
So to be clear: the iFun Pixel is not a powered hang glider, although its light weight (90 kg or 200 lbs) may suggest as much. This is truly an “Air Creation” in the spirit of the venerable Fun Racer that so many pilots appreciated. The iFun Pixel is built for cruising, has room for a huge payload of luggage and offers the same comfort and safety as its sister twin-seaters in our product line. It can be assembled by one person in less than 15 minutes. .... See LINK
Too bad this is only visible to those in the AC group. This would be a good trike for all to see.
Not to fear-- This IS visible to everyone (Log Out and you can still see it). You're thinking of the Air Creation Owners Group. This is posted to the public group, Air Creation- Satisfly your Passion (started by WeFly)
Hey WeFly, what's the background-- why was this secret, and you mention the guys weren't legal back then.
We enjoy all your stuff, keep it coming!!!
Thanks XC.. the video was filmed by my Dad, and old footage converted. Nobody has ever seen the actual arrival assembly of the shipment or the CASA inspection procedures.
My intitial contact with Air Creation was in June 1994 to be there Aussie Distributor... Air Creation were not legal in Australia until 2007. Its a complicated twisted story that involved 29 people (CASA,HGFA,AUF Officers) and their political procrastination, spread over 11 years.!
Its a very long story which I have documented on another video... a very personal story. Its the reason why we have very few imported trikes in Australia and a large monopoly of Aussie trikes here.
The background in the opening image is in France near Ardeche.. loverly countryside indeed.. I have fond memories of my visit to the factory in 1996.
Its all good now, thats the most important aspect to - A Secret Tribute.
How cool is that?????? Awesome guys well done , and it seems that I am not old enough yet so I better start saving for my dream trike - Tanarg!
Christopher & Henry..thankyou very much for your supportive comments. Yes Henry, we will get to fly together one day and it will be a pleasure to meet you. Cheer Chris.
