During the summer monsoon season in New Mexico, we get near perfect flying conditions every morning. I loaded up two GoPros, one on each wing tip, and headed out.
I headed out just before sunrise and saw a balloon a few miles away. I went in for a closer look and saw the "Alien" balloon. After doing a flyby, (note to other trike pilots, when doing a balloon flyby, don't aim right at them. No need to scare them), I turned to the east and flew a couple miles below the trees in the Rio Grande Bosque. Then I left and headed for the mountains. It was very calm and smooth, so I could get in close and smell the pine trees.
Enjoy the flight.

Jeff great to see another one of your very impressive videos. Great views of the rio grande and manzano mountains. Thanks
Nice video and nice Trike Jeff :-). Are your GoPros running just on battery and if so how long do you normally get when shooting video like that?
Cheers
This is very nice video Jeff. High and low. Amazing countryside.
Beautiful Jeff, very nicely done!
My GoPros are just running on their internal batteries. I turn the cameras off when I am not recording to stretch the batteries. I can get 2hrs of recording time in the summer, 1 hour in winter. I used to have a long USB cable to keep the batteries topped off, this worked for a while, then I changed the USB cigarette ligher adapters around and noticed that I started loosing the wifi connection after a while. I went back to just using the batteries. Anyone else have a similar problem with USB power?
Jeff, it could be voltage drop related. USB uses 5V and it will drop if you use long thin wire. I use the product "Brunton All Day Battery". It extends your gopro battery life to 7.5 hours even during you use wifi. That is the real duration I tested. I'm very happy with it. But it fits only newer versions of gopro cameras (3 and 4). If you use these cameras, I highly recommend it. You can get it from ebay by searching "Gopro Brunton All day". The quality is exceptional and reasonably priced.
Thanks Henry, Great idea. This video shows how it works.
Woooow! Yes I have a similar problem with USB power too. All Day Battery is great solution. I need to find out one for mine AEE cam.
