Henry, this is an absolutely awesome video! I love the scenery, topography and location. Looks like you took off before sun rise to take advantage of the calmer air. I don't know how much of your flying time was above 14,000 but I was wondering if you felt any effects of the thin air, hypoxia. Some pilots start to experience hypoxia effects above 12,000 (or even lower) depending on the amount of time at those elevations.
I really hope to fly out of Mineral county airport some time. I am quite certain I would have problems at those DA with my trike and my 13M Pacer wing. However, after the Bonners Ferry fly-in Dave, John and I went over to visit Kamron at Chelan with part of my intent to see the 16.5M Solairus. Kamron let me fly one he had in stock on a Maverick trike similar to mine and I loved it. I put down a deposit on a custom Solairus. I think I should have a little easier time with climb rates in higher DA environments. Maybe it will even be good enough for an airport at ~8700' msl. So one of my dreams is to fly around the San Juans and Sangre de Christo ranges. I just love Colorado. My family skiis there periodically and I do have 2 siblings that live in Denver area. Thanks for sharing a great video.
ULtrikeoilot, thank for your nice comment on the movie. I don't think yu have any issue to take from Mineral Counrty Airport. Especially, the air temp is lower than 50 degree in early summer morning, which makes density altitude lower.

Beautiful Country Henry!! I dig the Revo's lights! ;)
Another fantastic video Henry. Deb and I used to live in Colorado. Seeing it from the air kicks it up a few notches. Thanks for the views!
