Thanks for your comments guys! Joz, not sure what that hole is. My back seat paparazzzi chick got a nice shot of it though.  http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/image/88138/img-9654 When we entered the canyon there was barely a breath of wind. 10 minutes later we had 15 - 20 mph winds. I want to know who flipped the switch on the fan! With all those mountains and structures it got dicey very quickly. Needless to say when we did turn around and had the fan at our tail we shot out of there lickity split. And yes, my baby is a rock, was never nervous while we rock and rolled. :)

so rick when in the canyon   dont you think you were in the wind shadow? def looks bit turbulant but you are handling pretty good. loved seeing the big hole pretty cool . and of course  ccr   Long live dino rock.

Hey David, yes definitely, whether behind a structure or the wind rotoring off the mountains it was quite a ride! I was surprised at how fast conditions changed though. But all in all a good experience.
