3 guys with 3 trikes arrived from Dubová airport. All of them was here first time. One of them - Jany Lacúch did a practical exam for qualification: Instructor - Tandem pilot. Who was a strict inspector (CFI)? It was me... :)- The Verner company in present is developing radial 3-5-7 cylinder engines. The newest (in short time) will be 9 cylinder engine.
- Yesterday afternoon I spent some time playing around at 4 000 ft aASL chasing Cloud Areola's ( Cloud Nipples ) over our airstrip during sunset - what an awesome pastime we have!
- Out with the old, in with the new. Time for the old fuel tank to come out.
- Three aircraft formation in very close. Todays Briefing, Formation T/O and join into Left Echelon. Then VEE Formation, followed by Reverse VEE, and them back to Left Echelon. Landing Pitch and Recover. Total training time for formation 50mins.
- Flying was good, just 2 hours before sunset. Magic air. All of Flying J boys had good time except me. I enjoyed my day being with them. I brought food, barbecued steaks (soaked in teriyaki with pineapple overnight).
- The Rally was a great time. The weather was generally nice and made for some good flying. There where six trikes, lots of powered parachutes, a couple visiting LSA 3...
- Took off from Yarrawonga , Victoria, Australia and flew across to Albury airport. This is normally a Class C airspace, however on very rare occasions it reverts...
- Gorgeous break in the weather on Saturday made for a great late afternoon / evening...l Twilight. I hope to post details on the PowerBurst install when I have time.
