I've never heard of the string battens failing, only the snap tip type. just the same, string is a wear item as well. Inspect your strings, even if your wing is assembled all the time there can be wear. Take them off from time to time to have a look!- Thats very cool, Im surprised how little it appears to pull on the string guy.
- Interesting indeed. Always have preferred my string batten retainers, but wasn't ever sure if I had a good reason.
