    Thanks Hedgeview, you forgot to mention the baron landing strips dotted with granite all over the top of the hills, again very accessable by chopper. Landing could be a bit bumpy though!. AQR

    Hi Monty, great job- yes you are right on two counts-- Most of us haven't done it, and the Loquacious One on the Dark Side (probably hasn't either) but can surely beat you up over it.   I can help you post the vid when you're ready, would like to see it.

    Monty its happened to me on the dark side as well , type in two pages with one finger. Like what you posted bam its oh no ,no ,no ,gone cant be ,crying out loud,tantrum.really frustrating now iam like its been a minute iam going to copy it.

    Just watching this one again and again. I'm really surprised how dark the runways actually look relative to street lights etc. Thank goodness for the strobes leading your way. Was this your perception also, or just an illusion due to the camera/lighting etc?

    I just have to agree with Joe. You don't know where the engine will stop... for many reasons. You must estimate your altitude, gliding efficiency, landing point, and where you will land. I'm always training for an emergency landing, if it happens, from different altitudes over the airport.

    Very nice looking trike. I bet by flaring from the rear wires or with training bars attached you could make a decent full flare landing. I used to fly a pteradactyl that could do no roll landings. It was a lot of fun just landing.
