Since I'm still having trouble getting a better quality video, here's a photo from last weekend at Salton Sea.
We climbed to 4500' to make a short cut over the water. Smooth air all the way.
These "fishing" cabins have a square net they lower into the water and then pull them back up time to time to see if they have caught a fish. I recon it's a mans excuse to leave the house for a few hours and drink a beer or two with friends
Winds were calm this morning and we headed straight up the Rio Puerco Valley with few scenic detours. We took a look at the mud water fall, flowing nicely from the summer rains.
We continued due north for Pagosa Springs.
the extra filters are sold by oreillys autoparts for lawn mowers etc. $3.95 ea. i'm no lover of paper filters, they can soak with water and plug up. (ask me how i know!).
