The wind picked up in the wrong direction, so I had to land between the trees at Mexican Mountain. This was not fun in the swirling thermally air.
I stayed just above the tops of the trees until I reached the wide spot at mid-field, then plopped down.
This wing has not flown except for the test by the craftsman Mark Gibson. So far everyone that has seen this wing today agrees, this thing is heavy duty through and through. The stitching is immaculate and straight. All the batons came out of the box spot on using the chart.
Turkey vultures also seemed to congregate here !!?? That's all cliff and river you can see over the edge of the hood, road so tight and narrow, you can't see it ...
