Because the Tanarg has a very wide stance (love it), i...the cargo space. I made these little ramps to lift the front wheels up over the...o, this was a great solution to what was a problem- lift and chock all in one.
Toucans can't fly. Whilst on a cross country trip to Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, we had a forced landing. Suspected bird strike to the propellor. All went well though. No damage to trike or pilot and passenger. Yes, a video is being made. Watch this space!
I found “Royal Arch”, 175ft high with a span of 80 ft, ample clearance for a trike. On the other side of the ridge was a mini Monument Valley. It was too windy to explore today, but I plan to return and check it out in the future.
Still pre test flight. I had a bent axle from one wheel falling off my trailer wheel ramp. That engine must be heavy, but I can still lift two fat boys with my 19.
We steadily climbed out of the valley to reach the top of the 12,500 ft mountain north of Creede, Garita Peak. From there we followed a high mountain ridge to the east.
This is a view back to the northwest to Garita Peak and the large park below the mountain.
