Back in the Gawler hangar.. a good friend, a professional pilot, a man of great enthusiasm for flying safely...we had so much fun in the air that holds fond thoughts of why we fly.
I've been talking to a lot of people and I haven't heard anyone who knows them say anything bad about the Lithium Iron (except advise to get from a good supplier).
This car that looks like a small El Camino in the states is very popular here. I'd like one in the states if if got good mileage (loved my Tacoma, but mileage was pretty bad at 18 best)
Got a good separation going on now. I'm learning that to get the tank out its more about the front end going up than the folding down the middle. Had to stabilize the whole rear end with the crane, and lifting the front wheel up. Taking a break for now, more photos later
The Royal Flying Doctors cover a HUGE amount of territory. Their flight miles add up to 7 trips to the moon each year.
We are flying pretty much in the area marked by the state of Texas, and cover a good bit of it.
Children used to work much of this mine because the passageways were so small. I prefer to be high above ground ;) In fact this solidified that I don't want to be buried in the end, and get a good job, because some jobs can really really really suck
The green is the threshold. We were simulated power out here-- damn good glide-- I had to slip it to get in. Neat watching the white moving light flash the way home.
Conducted my fit test today for my new Tanarg. Profi looks good on there! Fit test went very well with no isssues noted. Starting my phase 1 flight testing after a deep inspection.
My daughter had a blast orbiting her High School and getting some good pics for the year book. That was the best flight day we've had all year. Less than 5 kts all day long.
