Started my training this weekend with YFT. Squeezed in 3 hours in Peters XT912 in 3 separate ventures. First flight did level flying, followed by 90deg tu...- This started out as an a T-6- but is super customized

- This was yesterday evening- before the event started- already ~ 35 airplanes and lots of people there!
- The first official town in Nevada. Started out as a trading post in 1850 and named after Columbus's birthplace in 1855 when the Mormon Settlers arrived. Now they have ranching and golf. The scenery is unmatched, then and now.
- Lubos started fly from rear seat and we needed change his "bad" aerodynamic planes control habits.
- Sun came out right as the cruise started (more weather / rain coming later today). How does YFT plan the weather and days off sooo well a year in advance??!!!
- 25 miles west of Havasu - call the ball
- We were up early, but it was rainy to the east. So we headed west for Chimney Rock, then made a wide loop to the south to reach the San Juan river then started to follow it upstream.
