We wanted to park the trikes here to stay at Wentworth, but it was too wet (so across the river to Mildura a bigger airport) and park in a huge Qantas hangar.
This is an unretouched photo. No Photoshop- just came out of my cell phone camera this way.
You can see the birdwing shape right inside the trike-- looks like a swooping bird of prey!!
Mayby one wing, maybe another. So many decisions. Gotta connect the rear strobe light and paint the header pipe. The saddle bags will go on and the Ballistic Chute re-installed. This trikes looks and sits like a two place but it is a single.
Laurie is a recently qualified pilot and the proud new owner of this unique coloured Tanarg 912. He is also proudly sporting his All Trikes top which XC Triker presented to him when in OZ
All kinds of crazy stuff is always going on at El Mirage. Land Racers, motos, experimentals of every kind, Hang Gliders, Trikes, Dragsters, Drones!! and other military stuff .... you name it!!
For those familiar with Peter and Roy of Toucan FlyerFame (and Trikepilot magazine) I saw this whilst on the road up near Gympie. It appears the boys are diversifying their business interests. I wonder if the drive through caters for trikes?.
