Triple Tree is a semi hidden gem ( http://www.tripletreeaerodrome.com ) . It's 7000ft long and 400ft wide of smooth grass. They host fly-in's for regular aircraft and remote control. This year we had everything from two DC-3's down to a powered parachute. And they have RV hook ups. It's a well thought out place. If you are ever in the south east in September it's worth a look. They also do breakfast fly-in's year round.
