Ooh, that's interesting. I really, really like the Quik wing - is that the standard Quik? I imagine that setup is an absolute joy to fly. What sort of climb rate do you get with the 582, and what's cruise rpm? Any quirks with this setup?
Yes its a standard (manual trim) Quik wing. Climb rate is 1000 feet per min, speed range 60 - 85mph. approx 10 lt per hour at 60mph/4600rpm. I have also flown the electrim trim version, which has a trim range of 45 to 95mph.
Impressive - I didn't know it was available as a 2 stroke. The Quik wing has a phenominally good roll rate and pressures and a superb ability to shrug of turbulence; I'll bet you're having fun with it.
