Hi Goldenwings4u, What airport are you at? Your wing looks really good in the air, nice colours.

  • Goldenwings4u

Hi YFt, thanks for compliment,  this is Solapur airport, State: Maharashtra, India

I noticed some mud guards on the back of your wheel pants and at the back of your nose wheel...is that something you rigged up or does the Cruiser come that way from the factory?  I have rigged up almost the exact set up on my trike.  I was getting a lot of prop strikes due to the pebbles and small stones that I would pick up from take off runs and landings and this modification has reduced that problem considerably.  It appears that you have an Aerolux prop on your bird and those are expensive to replace if you brake a blade.

Hi X Thanks for comments. well cruiser do not comes with mud flaps i modified number of things coz i mostly use mud strip and as you know cruiser comes with Aerolux  prop, so solution is  if i use any  four wheeler mud flap on pant that saves my prop. also i adjusted length of my shocks which gives me clear clearance from ground.  i think instead of using 3 blades if i use 4 blades that will help me lot but again its very expensive. right now i m looking for wing, which wing you will suggest me for short take off- landings

You say in your post that you are using a 17 meter wing now...doesn't that wing get you off the ground quickly enough?  How far are your take off and landing runs with your current wing?  Do you have a limited take off run at your airport?

Yes a four blade prop would help but is expensive.  If you go for a four blade prop I would suggest that you buy one that you can repair yourself.  Carbon fiber props (I use Warp Drive brand) are easily repairable by me by simply using baking soda, super glue & sand paper and are a good value for your money because of that.    Aerolux is an excellent prop but if you brake a blade you have no other choice than to replace it...there is no way that you or I could even begin to repair one.

well my wing takes only 50 to 70 m for lift off tandem/nil wind condition but  its very hard to manure its stretch me left side from very first day .... i think manufacturing defect ... when you are new some peoples keep you chit on ....

Are you saying that your wing has a left turn that needs to be constantly corrected?  If that is the case than your wing needs to be tuned.  Did you get a batten chart with your wing when you bought it and did you buy your wing new or used?

  • Goldenwings4u

i tuned it 100 times yah i have batten chart but no use ......i fed with wing ....
