Hey Guys,
FINALLY!!!!! got my new Skyper airworthied in Tucson on November 11th. Had to fly off the 5 hours within 25 miles of the airport. Then it was off to Pahrump, NV to meet up with Jim & Sue and visit Leo & Janice for about 10 days and then fly back to Petaluma.
With the BioniX 13 wing and 100 hp Rotax engine it has great power and handling. Absolutely LOVE the aircraft and wing.
Jim and I plan to fly to Havasu if the weather conditions are right in mid January. Hope to see you all there.
Cheers,
Kim
PS - XC - believe it or not, I got endorsed by Neil to fly into towered airports while I was in Marana, AZ.

Hey Kim, I was wondering if we could swap wings for a couple flights in Havasu? You fly my BioniX15 on your hunert horser Skypper, and I fly your BioniX13 on my 80hp Tanarg? Then we could swap carriages and do it again? ;) I would really like that !!
Heck XC, just chop off a meter from each side of your 15 and you and I will have the same 13 meter wing!!! -:)!!
Hey xc ive got a hacksaw or if you want to do it a little faster you could use my cutting torch seals the edge of the dacron as you go and gives youre wing a cool lookin jaged edge leafy look .O:-)
Wait a minute, I LIKE my extra 2 squares ;)- I'm quite sure I've needed them in the places and manner (loaded for XC in the mountains) I fly.
I am dying to give it a try though-- Fly his skypper 100 / BioniX13, then trade wings and fly his BioniX13 on my Tanarg 80.
Every aircraft has a specialty- The Skypper B13 100 has it's niche. It's very cool.
I wonder which wing the guys in the movie landing on skis in the very high looking mountains were using?
I bet this thing would be amazing with a BioniX 13. A little on the extremes for me though ... I like well rounded.
This is a comparison of the BioniX13 on the Tanarg & Skypper.

Unfortunately it's in French (well not unfortunate if you are French)- but unfortunate for me ..
I tried to use Google-Translate ( http://translate.google.com/) to translate it for everyone, but it won't copy paste.
If anyone knows how to translate it, or wants to translate just the summary paragraphs-- that would be awesome!!!
Congrats Kim, that is a very beautiful trike, love it. If we ever meet again, I would like a ride in it.
Thanks Rizzy. When we meet again, you will DEFINITELY get a ride!!!! I hope that time will come sooner rather than later....Kim
I love the speed range of your trike thanks for flying with me hope we can do it again
Hi Dean, The speed range is certainly a terrific advantage for flying low and slow when doing local flying and fast when you want to put some miles between stops while flying cross country. When we meet again, we'll fly together and you will see first hand how well this machine handles. It's Fantastic!!!
