Hey, I don't know a lot about Cubs (they're cool)- Is there much travel in their suspension or is most of their off road suspension the big tires? How do you think a trike would do on tires like that? You'd need GREAT rear brakes.
It does look like a BRS canister, but ??? Temps inverted here, took off at 9am and it got UP TO 90° at 2,000 feet. I had a guy in the back and filled the tank (should've kept less weight if I knew it was going to be that hot / inverted).
Hi XC, and Ken, Yes the BRS canister on the front of the Super Cub is for the revers landings. You know when you just need to get into that very very small field... No its not a BRS.... it the air filter cover. By the way the box underneath is where the dog lives.

107 when I landed today at 9 am - supposed to get another 10 degrees hotter.
