Nice picture yft. Great depth perception. Doesn, t look to friendly to e/o though.what options would you have? Hey ibeing an endurance horseman have always loved the snowy river movies. Have you ever flown over the snowy river range that would be so cool if you had some video of that that you could post? Iam a animial exotic pet lover if i lived there i would have a sancuary filled with vipers and cool lizards and exspecialy birds koalas.its always been my dream to have a golden eagle companion. I use to have a pet bear and i had a bull elk that would walk right into sonyas kitchen .and i tamed a injured full grown racoon who lived his life in my cabin he never bit me again after i tamed him or got into the food. When he came in at night he would crawl up in our covers and lick are toes. Always used the litterbox.well probably good thing i dont live there.

Hi David, Flying in Darwin is tricky at the best of times. This photo was taken by Steve one of my student pilots. There are so many snapping handbags up there if you crashed nobody would find you any way. The Snowy river... I have flown from the very start of it to the ocean. It is one of the best flights I have ever done. Koalas... yes lovely little bears they are a bit like a Drop Bear. They sit in the trees and as you walk by they piss on you. OH YEA I LOVE THE LITTLE BUGGERS. As far as Eagle go, this is the place, we have ship loads of them. I was up with a student yesterday and we had two of them flying with us for about an hour. Every day when I open the hangar doors you can see hawks and eagle flying around the RWY. This is the best place to be. All the best

Dave... do a youtube search for microlight Porepunkah for your fix. The airfields located at the base of Mt Buffalo National Park. While approximately 100 km's from Mansfield, it forms part of the same mountain range where the film "Man From Snowy River" you mentioned, was filmed. Sadly, however, the actual Snowy River epitomised in the Andrew Barton (Banjo) Patterson poem towards the end of the 1800's, is now little more than a small stream with upstream in-flows controlled through a series of dams and hydro-electricity plants.
