Skypper flies to a new home.
Skypper 8512 moves to a new home...
Simon from Newcastle purchased our Skypper. This beautiful aircraft is going to live at Belmont near Newcastle. Simon arrived to pick up his new aircraft on Tuesday and we decided to go for a flight. The wind on take-off was only 15kts, but it didn't take long for the wind to notice that we were flying and within 20mins the wind was now blowing 25kts across the runways. So what did Simon and I do? Crosswind landing of course. The first approach we made on runway 19 was Simon's first attempt at the crosswind approach that I train our students to do. I think Simon said "I think we are going to Die!". We didn't and he was amazed at how easy it was and how safe it was to execute. After another four crosswind approaches the wing had really got up and I thought it was time to stop having so much fun. Today Simon headed for home and Skypper 8512 headed off to live with the XT-912 aircraft at Airborne s new aerodrome. All the best Simon.

Yft i would like it if you could demonstrate that crosswind tech once again. I can say one thing it works. .
