TG4 - 2015

By wefly

The Aussie Air Creation story continues... True Glory IIII - 16 Oct 2015 aircraft import delivery to Australia.

Flying is the easy bit...to satisfy the RAA/CASA with compliance for registration, is the other bit..!

No flying for me this trip..

To begin, drive approx. 7000+ klms - Alice to Yarrawonga return, free camp for 36 days in my rig, live/manage/administer two other businesses remotely.. in the meantime deliver/comply five aircraft in 6 days.. a solid challenge for any human.

Initially, the shipment was to arrive several weeks ago, got lost in China, then customs procedures required xray inspection of the CT prior clearance - delivery eventually occurred 16 Oct 2015. Once delivered, YFT commenced avionics installation and associated tasks and me with wings, props, placards and the numbers game of compliance procedures. At the end of the day we completed all requirements for submission - 22 Oct 2015..  six days.. all done.

On another level, awaiting delivery of CT, drive another 500 klms to the Bathurst V8 Supercars, to see this amazing event with my mum & dad.. I was truly blessed.. it was great fun!

The Arplast props are no longer.. the creator suddenly retired. AC now fit the Ultraform TXL 65 props to their machines. Great looking, low noise and better economy from these very well manufactured props.

Alas.. MGL Discovery 7 Console has a VHF radio feed-back problem on two aircraft... yet to solve problem!.

True Glory IIII ..  an amazing journey of worth.

In a nutshell: the primary factor earned over 20 years as the Australian Air Creation General Importer, is to be humble, patient and reliable. Experience confirms the AC factory team delivery quality aircraft to the best of their ability, although suppliers of the manufacturer may be their weak link in perfection.

It is what it is.. no matter with every shipment we learn more and product perfection is an AC objective.

May the angels grant Peter YFT.. safe aircraft flight testing in coming days with clear communications.

Thanks YFT for your efforts.. keeping the AC passion alive, in Australia.
