So I haven't been active online much or posted on here which I've been meaning to do.. I just had an amazing day I wanted to share with you guys. I'm visiting Florida right now and drove out to Zephyrhills to meet Larry Mednick for the first time and met some of the REVO staff. Not only was everyone incredibly friendly and nice, but I also went up in 3 different aircraft with 3 different wings; The new 12.4 Rival S, 10.9 Competition, and their 13.5 Discovery and I want to tell you about the Rival S...

 

Before I say anything, I really hope this isn't going to sound like a sales pitch. There is no benefit to me in writing this review. I am a Northwing M-Pulse II 15m owner based in Nevada. I just really think Larry and his staff are great people and the products that they've created, which I've finally experienced hands-on, deserve some recognition.

 

With that said, flying these 3 amazing wings back to back in a single day was a unique experience and I was able to truly feel the difference between each of them. Although they are all great wings, the one that really stood out was the Rival S. It was incredibly smooth and stable. I flew as slow as 50mph to 114mph completely effortlessly. No matter what speed I was at, the wing seemed to fly the same with the same maneuverability. It wasn't too stiff or too loose to maneuver, which really makes it the Goldielocks of wings. 

 

So those are my 2 cents… I don't consider myself an expert by any means. I've only been flying trikes 4 1/2 years. But I've flown a decent amount of wings. As I told Larry earlier, I believe the Rival S is the wing all of us pilots have dreamed about…
