So I haven't been online much lately. I've been planning on becoming more active on here. I just had an amazing day I wanted to share with you guys. I'm visiting Florida right now and drove out to Zephyrhills to meet Larry Mednick for the first time and met some of the REVO staff. Not only was everyone incredibly friendly and nice, but I also went up in 3 different aircraft with 3 different wings; The new 12.4 Rival S, 10.9 Competition, and their 13.5 Discovery and I want to tell you about the Rival S...

Before I say anything, I really hope this isn't going to sound like a sales pitch. There is no benefit to me in writing this review. I am a Northwing M-Pulse II 15m owner based in Nevada. I just really think Larry and his staff are great people and the products that they've created, which I've finally experienced hands-on, deserve some recognition.

With that said, flying these 3 amazing wings back to back in a single day was a unique experience and I was able to truly feel the difference between each of them. Although they are all great wings, the one that really stood out was the Rival S. It was incredibly smooth and stable. I flew as slow as 50mph to 114mph completely effortlessly. No matter what speed I was at, the wing seemed to fly the same with the same maneuverability. It wasn't too stiff or too loose to maneuver, which really makes it the Goldielocks of wings.

So those are my 2 cents… I don't consider myself an expert by any means. I've only been flying trikes 4 1/2 years. But I've flown a decent amount of wings. As I told Larry earlier, I believe the Rival S is the wing all of us pilots have dreamed about…

Nice comments Jon.. yes, I agree, Larry is an admirable mascot & pilot for a good trike!

Once we see several hundred, or even thousands.. Revo's, flying across the globe, mixing it with all other manufacturers, will be a great moment in the global triking world.

There is sense of dedication, innovation and artistry, in the design & manufacturing procedures of the Revo machine, something all manufacturers must aspire to achieve if they are to ultimately succeed in the tough world of light sport aviation.. thanks for the positive inbias post.

Keep the dream alive.. to fly.!

Hey Jon, its nice than you told us YOUR experience. I only saw some videos with Larry. I saw beautiful maneuverability of their wing. I would like to try it myself and meet the Revo team. Sometime maybe...

I thing, the wing speed is modified for a asphalt and nice flat graases arfields. I love fly and land to open country or mountain meadows. I think my Aeros Profi (37mph is min) is quite fast for it, but I love it and my wing is able to do it. Im not sure if a Revo wing (50mph is minimum = 80kph) is able to do it. Sorry, a wing is OK, but a trike would be a great problem if it landed on not flat gound. You can to ask Jeff Trike, if he would be changed it for his Cobra :)

However, Im sure the Revo team made a great job.
