Split in Prop (CSI)
The Trike is an Airborne XT-912 with a Arrow wing. The aircraft is only six months old. It now lives in Darwin Australia. It is a one owner and the pilot was trained by me at YFT.
After flying from MTK to a strip at Crab Claw near the beach the pilot landed without incident and the flight was uneventful. The pilot was carrying out his standard post flight inspection, when he saw the split in the trailing edge of one blade. He inspected the other two blades but found no damage at all. The blades are carbonfibre.
