The barstow fuel guy couldn't get over how cool this little VW powered Hummel was. Leo had a great time flying it over- Following the Carson River near Dayton NV. Got a little time to myself for a change. Great to taste the sky again

- Had time to verify the best settings for optimum/maximum glide ratio. I flew over the beach, but high. Nice and calm and surprisingly warm. I'll share that in the AC Owners Group.
- This photo was taken one beautiful evening at California Valley at twilight. With one additional wire, the lights can be synced (right and left) so they fire at the same time. I used a dipole switch for my strobes (off, position, strobe) $27 from B & C Specialty Products.
- This photo is a montage created with photoshop of my trike, and the trophy of an open bottle of Solo softdrink to celebrate going solo for the first time on 8th January 2013. This photo has been heavily photoshopped, but only using my own photography.
- I have a hard time remembering which side to drive on, and I often walk up to the wrong side of the bus to get on ... ;)

- It had rained hard last night and my trike was soaked. I learned my lesson and will put a cover over it next time. The rain messed up my radio, and Paul’s wasn’t working either. We took off with me in the lead and Paul right behind me.
