We got up 2hrs before sunrise. The wind was still blowing, 8kts at Milford, out of the south. We talked to a helicopter pilot yesterday. It is always blowing here. We took off, did a touch and go and headed north for Ibex.
We had steady light rain for about 1hour, starting near Lindrith. The clouds lifted near the vents where I looked to the side and saw Cabezon.
What a miserable flight. But we made it back safely to Belen.
Paul and I (Jeff) are following the Rio Grande, towards its source high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The canyon continued forever, and we never did reach the source....
