Can you see the glory (circular rainbow?). Not sure why, but sport pilot is not allowed to fly Over the Top.- Me in back seat with Pat on his Airborne trike for evening flight about 20 min. Pat is a local pilot of the Flying J ranch.
- Really cool airport that was at the top of a mesa. Flew out of there a few times before I was a trike pilot. Mesquite is a lot like it. Now its a go cart track ?

Back in the Gawler hangar.. a good friend, a professional pilot, a man of great enthusiasm for flying safely...we had so much fun in the air that holds fond thoughts of why we fly.- Toucans can't fly. Whilst on a cross country trip to Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, we had a forced landing. Suspected bird strike to the propellor. All went well though. No damage to trike or pilot and passenger. Yes, a video is being made. Watch this space!
- We see this guy everywhere! Had the pleasure of lunch one day at Santa Ynez (IZA). Son of a famous test pilot, and all around amazing guy with amazing stories of his own, and a history to back them up! You can read more about him here.
