There have been 2 new and 2 preloved trikes arrive on the shores of OZ (in case anyone didnt know). One of those trikes is a beautiful gleaming new green machine (and yes the Kermit jokes have been done to death)
i've had to break down and replace my trike tires, but i guess it was about time! the others are worse!( ps i'm saving up for my revo, i can't be blowing my $ on new tires every few years!)
Toucans can't fly. Whilst on a cross country trip to Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, we had a forced landing. Suspected bird strike to the propellor. All went well though. No damage to trike or pilot and passenger. Yes, a video is being made. Watch this space!
A couple of shots showing my hangar at Walsh's airstrip, Mansfield, Victoria
A cost effective, removable, weatherproof way of providing a trike hangar.
I took a lesson in a helicopter, with my CFI neice no less (it runs in the family). There are many parallels with trike flying, in some ways more than with fixed wing aircraft. It in other ways it is of course completely unique.
i noticed the other day that my trike tires were getting a little 'shabby'. so i decided to treat her/him/it to a pair of new-ish trailer tires, but keep the old ones as spares. ps i don't see a 'revo' in my immediate future so i'll keep saving up by running what i 'brung!
