After a rebuilt of my XT including changing wings to a REVO Sport 12.4 I flew her around for about 2 hours yesterday. The new wing is different from the Streak 3. It's faster and slower at the same time.- Can you see the glory (circular rainbow?). Not sure why, but sport pilot is not allowed to fly Over the Top.
- Needed something > 7ft wide to fit this beast. Ended up modifying a car tow dolly to keep it nice and light, Could use some type of bra to keep the rocks etc down on longer trips, but gets it to the airport or drylake really easily
- We headed towards Lee's Ferry, where we would turn north and follow Paria Canyon towards Zion National Park. The winds were very light so far.
- A light fog slowly lifts as the city of Hervey Bay comes to life during the middle of another working week. Those that work, go to work while those that fly......... well you know.
- This battery is shockingly light. It feels like an empty plastic box. Here's a photo balancing it on one finger.
- Mayby one wing, maybe another. So many decisions. Gotta connect the rear strobe light and paint the header pipe. The saddle bags will go on and the Ballistic Chute re-installed. This trikes looks and sits like a two place but it is a single.
- We had steady light rain for about 1hour, starting near Lindrith. The clouds lifted near the vents where I looked to the side and saw Cabezon. What a miserable flight. But we made it back safely to Belen.
- The green is the threshold. We were simulated power out here-- damn good glide-- I had to slip it to get in. Neat watching the white moving light flash the way home.
