  • Circular irrigation !!??

    So, you see these circular sprinklers a lot.  But this one South of Polson needs several bridges for the wheels to cross the stream! ;)

  • Toucan't Fly

    Toucans can't fly. Whilst on a cross country trip to Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, we had a forced landing. Suspected bird strike to the propellor. All went well though. No damage to trike or pilot and passenger. Yes, a video is being made. Watch this space!

    Approaching Bowknot Bend on the Green River.  We climbed up to cross at the low spot on the canyon wall on the left side.

    The first Toucan Trike Trailer. Note the bar stools. We were going on an outback cross country and we weren't sure what facilities would be out there so we took our own bar stools just in case. - Seriously....

  • Crossing over to Saguache

    We left Gunnison and had to climb to high to cross the mountains to reach Saguache and the San Luis Valley.  If was very cold, about 30F ambient temperature.   Our goal was the heated pool at Hooper, Colorado.  We just hoped it would be open when we landed so we could warm up.
