Shot of attawayl off my right wing with the Jean dry lake on the background. On our way to the Ivanpah dry lake at the Nevada, California state line- This guy was just crazy. Tried several times to hook a banner in pretty high winds. Ditn' succeed, although we saw him earlier in the day on the coast.

Paul Hamilton (Reno) training Jon Carmichael (Las Vegas) for private pilot high altitude above 10,000 at Lake Tahoe at the North Shore looking south- It was kinda foggy on the coast all day today, but WARM in the air (inverted)! Very nice, great conditions. Took an excited passenger from the event up here. When we got back, the SLO tower asked for a ride ;)

- I thought this would be a unique view-- I talked the tower into taking photos of us flying today-- The shots in the air didn't come out so great. No snow, but this one is kinda unique. Was cold (California cold) in the air though. Happy New Year!

Next stop Hollister... no wait, Watsonville-- Join our buddies Ken & Doug!!! ;) Weather was getting better, after the low clouds lifted mid morning, I scooted out of the Sierra Foothills for the Santa Cruz coast (chasing the good weather).- Trike in tow at El Mirage dry lake - headed for California!
