Cruising up the Dirty Devil River.
Near Hanksville, I saw a Powered Parachute circling ahead. I raised him on the radio to say good morning. He was a little surprised to see the two of us emerge from the middle of nowhere, then disappear into the desert wilderness.
A light fog slowly lifts as the city of Hervey Bay comes to life during the middle of another working week. Those that work, go to work while those that fly......... well you know.
Got a good separation going on now. I'm learning that to get the tank out its more about the front end going up than the folding down the middle. Had to stabilize the whole rear end with the crane, and lifting the front wheel up. Taking a break for now, more photos later
We found the cliff where "Chocolate Falls" forms in the spring. No mud today, just some clear water dribbling over the edge. It looked like oasis in the middle of nowhere.
We landed in Wentworth in the middle of nowhere almost, and there was a WWII book about the development of the P-51 Mustang0 and there was Vance Breese (Senior) (our own Vance Breese on AllTrike's Dad) testing the P-51 inside.
