I found “Royal Arch”, 175ft high with a span of 80 ft, ample clearance for a trike. On the other side of the ridge was a mini Monument Valley. It was too windy to explore today, but I plan to return and check it out in the future.- This photo was taken one beautiful evening at California Valley at twilight. With one additional wire, the lights can be synced (right and left) so they fire at the same time. I used a dipole switch for my strobes (off, position, strobe) $27 from B & C Specialty Products.

- We followed the Colorado out of Moab Utah for about 100 miles. Some areas had farms, but it was mostly desolate and empty country.
- We landed at Pagosa, refueled and headed north up the Piedra Valley. We flew past Williams Reservoir and approached the 12,500 ft mountains that blocked our path to Creede. It was 11am and the clouds were just starting to build.
- Beautiful Sundays morning. I flew home from Ružomberok - this is that town down with smoking stacks and the Váh river.
