Big Congratulations to Mike who went Solo this full moon morning at Double Eagle Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico ! We started out early on Runway 04, and after 5 touch and goes it was time for him to go it alone while I shot photos from the run up area of the ramp. He initially did a go around which I was super happy about it, he was blown away at how -210 lbs makes to the performance of the trike ! Then he did 4 landings before picking me up. Mike served in Vietnam, as a Flight Engineer so this was his first time as Pilot In Command, thank you sir for your service!
