Actually, I landed hard about a month earlier and both rear wheels had a bend to them that I'm in the process of straighting out before spring. It has a tempered aluminum rod as the rear springs. This trike has an all stainless steel frame. I'll add another pic of the rear end. It was imported from Italy. I nought it from Lucion back in 2002. I've been flying it for a good 12 years. I had to replace the fuel tank about 5 years back as it was fiberglass and was starting to delaminate.

My first fiberglass tank delaminated also. Upgraded to poly pro and all was well.
