We were up at dawn in 11 deg F temperatures. We packed up and were ready to leave after an hour. Thankfully, no frost on the wings this morning. I took off, but immediately realized I had forgotten my gloves when I "lightend my load" as part of my preflight. I returned to land and found my gloves. As soon as I took off, I did not feel the familiar bump of my wallet in my back pocket. Did I pack it away? I headed back and landed again and found it tucked inside my pack. Paul was patiently circling south of the Hooper Airstrip the entire time. Finally I was off for good and heading south for the last leg of the trip.
